The Designer

Spyros Kizis is a London-based product designer that has turned to, what he terms, ‘tangible nature’ for material inspiration. His defining series, to date, is the Artichair project where artichoke pulp is metamorphosed into furniture for everyday use.

In parallel with ongoing design projects and freelance work, Spyros collaborates with architects in Greece specializing in new public projects, residential and factory developments and revitalization of historic buildings. Spyros consults on design matters inlcuding interiors and bespoke furniture.

His work has been exhibited in Edinburgh, London, Milan, Ekaterinburg, Athens and Thessaloniki to date.

Spyros is currently collaborating with Schaffenburg to create an eco-friendly furniture series.
